Introduction

      Dr. Ong Moc Quy is a lecturer at the Faculty of Fisheries, Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City. He graduated bachelor degree at Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City in 2004 with aquaculture field. Then graduated with a master's degree in aquaculture in 2008 from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Thailand. In 2020, he completed his thesis defense and received a doctorate degree in aquaculture at Curtin University, Australia, under the government scholarship program (Project 911).

       Dr. Quys' favorite field is research on the application of modern techniques and new technologies into the practice of hatchery and crustacean farming. He also proposes solutions for the management of operating processes in a sustainable and safe way

     

Teaching subjects:

- Coastal Aquaculture Techniques                                                      - Crustacean seed production and farming

 

Ongoing project:

-Effects of two types of fresh feed on weight gain and biochemical composition of mud crab Scylla paramamosain (Estampador, 1949) from the soft shell to pre-molting of mud crab reared in a recirculating aquaculture system. Basic project supported by the university: 2021-2022.
