Regarding teaching, from 1979 to 1989, the Department's personnel had many changes due to a number of lecturers changing jobs (Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Van Xuan, Mr. Nguyen Tri Hung, Mr. Ngo. Van Hai…) and some lecturers go to school, so some subjects have to visit lecturers from the University of Natural Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City and the Faculty of Fisheries - Can Tho University. Most of the lecturers of the Department at this time only have engineer degrees. Since 1989, lecturers were respectively sent to graduate training at local and abroad. Since 1990, there were several lecturers with master's degrees have achieved. Since 1998, Dr. Le Thanh Hung returned from France and held the position of Head of the Department until 2012. Currently, the Department's personnel has 8 people, including 1 Associate Professor, and 3 Doctors, and 3 Masters.
